West Valley High School Students raised over $2600 in PINK October

Nov 16, 2021

The High School ASB students raised funds to donate to the fight against breast cancer, as well as raising awareness in our school on exactly what Ohana Mammography Center provides community wide. They organized this fundraiser to unite our student body behind a cause that impacts people throughout our community. Our Homecoming Court Seniors visited Ram Strong classes to promote this community service and inform what the money donated would provide. Students did a “dash-for-cash” as they visited classrooms and raised over $1300 from staff and student donations. ASB also sold PINK spirit gear like sweatshirts, T-shirts and more. The proceeds from those sales was also roughly $1300. The HS ASB was proud to have raised over $2600 to donate to Ohana by way of the Memorial Foundation.
