Host Families Needed for German Students

West Valley High School will be hosting high school students from our partner school, John-Brinckman-Gymnasium in Güstrow, Germany, for the thirteenth time, dating back to 1999, as part of the German American Partnership Program (GAPP).  

Arriving on Monday, September 21, 2026, 12 students and two teachers will spend three weeks visiting schools and interesting sites around West Valley and Washington State.  

As a German program we need to host these students in homes during their stay here.

Hosting a student can be a life-changing experience, especially if you are considering traveling with our program to Germany in June 2027.  Hosting responsibilities include:  housing and feeding the student, providing transportation to events, and planning weekend activities.  Any family in West Valley is welcome to host a student.
