Superintendent Retirement

Dr. Peter Finch, Superintendent, has announced that he will retire at the end of the 2026/27 school year. The School Board will select a superintendent search firm at their next meeting on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. The School Board will seek input from the community, families, and staff for the superintendent job profile via an online survey in September.
Dr. Finch commented, "It has been an honor to serve the students, staff, and families of the West Valley School District for the past 25 years. I look forward to making my 26th year in West Valley the best year ever!"
