Hybrid & Remote Learning
Dear Families and Friends,
We hope this will provide you with a better understanding of what your child’s day will be like at the West Valley Middle Level Campus. More than ever, we are dedicated to providing a safe and high quality education to our students and having a positive impact within our communities. We thank you for your patience, support, and understanding.
The following provides a brief overview of our Hybrid Learning Option and our Remote Learning Option for grades 5-12.

Remote students will be given instruction from West Valley teachers in the four CORE classes that include:
- Social Studies
What does the Hybrid Learning Option Schedule look like?
- Group A (Alphabet A-L) attends in person Monday and Thursday and completes asynchronous work from home Monday - Friday as assigned by their teachers.
- Group B (Alphabet M-Z) attends in person Tuesday and Friday and completes asynchronous work from home Monday - Friday as assigned by their teachers.
What is Asynchronous learning?
Asynchronous learning is learning done outside of the physical or virtual classroom. During asynchronous learning days, students have no scheduled time with their teachers, but may reach out to their teachers with any questions.
Asynchronous learning activities may consist of:
- Outside classroom assignments
- Assigned videos
- Google classroom activities
