West Valley Junior High Athletics
West Valley Junior High has a large, successful athletic program focused on providing a chance for as many students as possible to participate and compete. Our coaches emphasize participation, fundamental skill development, and sportsmanship.
Our Eighth Grade program participates in the Mid-Valley Middle Level Activities and Athletics League (MVMLAAL) against most other schools in this region. The year is divided into four seasons: Fall, Winter 1, Winter 2, and Spring. No standings are kept, but West Valley Junior High is proud to have received numerous League Sportsmanship Awards!
Our Ninth Graders participate on either the High School's teams or our own Ninth Grade squads. The league schedules are in conjunction with the Columbia Basin League. West Valley Junior High has a strong record at this level as well.
