Coach's Biography
Jessica Frankovic
Jessica Frankovic

Jessica has been involved in cheerleading for over 14 years, beginning as a high school cheerleader at Goldendale High School. After being accepted to Central Washington University in 2000, Jessica was chosen for the cheerleading squad and was a full time football and basketball cheerleader for the four years she attended CWU.

Jessica graduated from Central Washington University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Teaching. Jessica continued with her passion of cheerleading through coaching the CWU Wildcat Cheerleaders for 2 years in 2004-2006.

After beginning a family and moving to Yakima, Jessica decided to focus on her husband and children, as well as her teaching career in Yakima. After receiving a high school biology teaching job at East Valley High School in Yakima, WA, Jessica was given the opportunity to coach at the high school level. In 2007-2009 Jessica was a full time Biology and Advanced Biology Teacher at East Valley High School in Yakima, WA as well as the Head Cheerleading coach.

In 2009 Jessica decided to stay home with her three toddlers, Madison (5), Sawyer (3) and Dawson (1). After her oldest, Madison began Kindergarten, and her middle child, Sawyer, began pre-school, Jessica missed being able to interact on a social and creative level- doing what she loved, coaching cheerleading. The opportunity at West Valley arose, and Jessica was excited about the opportunity to be the Head Coach of the West Valley Rams! Her first season at WV began in the Spring of 2010 and she is currently working to build a co-ed program through stunt progression and passion for the sport of cheerleading and leadership. Jessica hopes to build not only a powerful cheerleading program, but a spirit program at WVHS!
