/50 points Tie-It-All-Together Project (thinking about THEME)

List each Reading Assignment on a separate line
Next to each title(s), state the theme (Big Idea) the author is addressing in that piece of writing. Keep it simple and clear — only one or two words.
Which theme interests you the most? Do you like to read, think, write or talk about it?
Write a 5-paragraph paper that explains three things about that theme that interest you. Remember, stick one theme, but relate to it in three ways.

Read the novels Briar Rose and Shadow Spinner.

Answer the Book Report Questions for each novel. (50 points each) Think of the stories each character told as part of the larger story of the entire novel.
Write a 3-5 page paper commenting on the stories that were told by the characters of the novels and if you think those stories help or hinder the plot of the larger novel. Use specific examples from both novels to help you explain.
