Lit & Film: Unit 7 Directors
Purpose:
- Understand how a director is similar to an author.
- Broaden your movie watching experience.
- Practice your research and writing skills.
Process:
- Select three directors from the list below.
- Conduct enough research to write an accurate and informative biography for each director. DO NOT PLAIGERIZE. Include your notes with your final drafts.
- Compile a list of films made by each director you pick.
- Watch at least one of their movies, complete the movie worksheets and write a critique.
Turn in:
- 3 edited and revised biographies WITH notes and bibliographies
- 3 movie lists
- 3 movie worksheet sets
- 3 edited and revised movie reviews
