- You MUST complete the Lab Report Form for each item (so one meal might have 4 or five forms — one for each part of the meal you made).
Cooking Labs
- pre-packaged main dish (not frozen/reheat)
- from scratch main dish
- pre-packaged dessert
- from scratch dessert
- fancy green salad
- macaroni or potato salad (find a low-fat version)
- frozen veggies (steam or stir-fry)
- fresh veggies (steam or stir-fry)
- fancy jello salad
- student choice — pre approved by Mentor
Baking Labs
- quick bread
- yeast bread (from scratch pizza crust would count…see notebook)
- from scratch biscuits or muffins
- pre-packaged biscuits or muffins
- broil meat (fish or steak)
- roast vegetables
- baked meat as a main dish (roast chicken, meatloaf, casseroles)
- from scratch cookies or brownies
- from scratch cake w/from scratch frosting
- student choice — pre approved by Mentor
