"Before school and during both lunches our students work in the Balloon store. When a customer comes in the students greet the customer and answer any questions the customer may have. Once the customer has chosen a balloon the students complete as much of the transaction as they can. There is a Para-Educator, Ms.Troy, to help them as much as needed. Once the order has been made and the money paid, the students get out the balloon needed and let Mr.Jaeger know who the balloon goes to. Mr. Jaeger writes a note for that student to come pickup the order after school. The students help Ms.Troy blow the balloons up and tie the ribbon to the balloon order. Every Friday the students take inventory of what supplies we have. if there have been special arrangements made the students deliver the balloons to the classes. If there are no customers the students take turns playing a role as customers to give each other practice with money transactions." |
