POSITION: Elementary Title I Para-Professional
Primary Responsibility: Provide instruction to students as outlined by the Title/LAP coordinator, routine clerical duties, material preparation for the teaching/learning process and other non-instructional duties as designated by the Title/LAP coordinator.
Directly Responsible To: Title/LAP coordinator and building principal.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist classroom teacher with the following duties:
• Provide instruction to students
• Typing and duplicating materials
• Construction of bulletin boards
• Checking papers
• Conducting small group instruction
• Administering and scoring informal tests
• Assist students in class
2. Supervise students in library, on playground, bus loading, hallways, field trips and lunchroom.
3. Assist in management of computer lab operation.
4. Perform other duties as assigned.
