Coursework Opportunities for 8th Graders

As 8th graders will soon be registering for high school classes during the upcoming conference week, we want to highlight the many opportunities for students.

West Valley strives to offer rigorous courses, which prepare students for dual-credit opportunities in grades 10-12.  Rigorous coursework is critical to readying kids for the high level work they will encounter later in their academic careers. With West Valley’s many partnerships with technical schools and universities, students have incredible opportunities to launch their careers soon after graduating.

From Art, to Welding, Biology and Financial Planning, West Valley’s student have a myriad of choices that can help them to learn skills and earn college credits.

Encourage your child to register in rigorous coursework, and discuss options with their teachers.

Find all of the dual-credit courses listed on the website, here.
