It’s National Mentoring Month! Mentoring makes a big difference in young peoples’ lives. According to
mentoring.org, young adults who were at-risk for falling off track but had a mentor are

55% more likely to enroll in college

78% more likely to volunteer regularly

90% are interested in becoming a mentor

130% more likely to hold leadership positions.

Mentoring helps youth know that someone cares and that they are not alone in their struggles. “Research confirms that quality mentoring relationships have powerful positive effects on young people in a variety of personal, academic, and professional situations,” states mentoring.org.

We believe that when young people are mentored, it opens up social and economic opportunities as well as opportunities for personal growth and development. If you want to make a difference in a young person’s life, you can find programs by clicking here.
