Reptile Man to Visit Mountainiview

On March 26th Mountainview will be crawling with all kinds of reptiles.  Come check it out.  We will be having an assembly during the day for students and we will also offer a night assembly at 7:00PM for the rest of the family. Admission for the night assembly is  $1.00 per person.  Come join the fun and have your picture taken with a creepy crawly critter.   Our book fair will be open also, from 6:30-8:30 PM.

MOUNTAINVIEW PARKING LOT REMINDERS

The parking lot has been marked to keep the traffic flowing in one direction.  Please follow the arrows!  Traffic is to enter on the north end of the parking lot and exit on the south end of the parking lot without exception.  Please do not U-turn through the parking spaces.  This is to ensure that Mountainview students and their parents will be safe.

Anyone dropping off students in the drop off lane, please do so as quickly as possible.  If a student needs help unloading/loading an instrument or supplies the staff member on duty will help them.  We also ask that ALL students exit/load from the right (passenger) side of the vehicle. If you need to spend longer than 20 or 30 seconds with your students then we ask that you park and walk them across the crosswalk.  Also, parents please hold the hand of your younger students as you bring them across the parking lot.  It makes us very nervous to see a small child running ahead of the parents or guardians. Please do not park along the fence or across the cross walk to drop your student off.

Spring Book Fair to be held during conference week March 24th to 27th (M - Th only). We will be holding it in the gym this year. Part of the book fair profits will be divided among the classrooms, so the Teachers will have an opportunity to update their classroom libraries.  Lisa Griffith will be organizing volunteer shifts.  If you are interested in volunteering please call her at 966-7133.
